Tungsten has a specific weight of 18 kg/dm3, which is nearly twice more than lead. We use these tungsten bead to add weight to our streamers so they sink faster and deeper. The use of a big tungsten bead will also push the streamer into a jig movement when fishing the strip-and-stop technique.
