Here is a great set to chase catfish on the fly from boat/belly boat. All the lifting power you need and a 'full cage' fly reel with a strong drag.

- Airflo Elbi Pike Line WF9/10I (full intermediate) - 40lb core (underlining the rod but works just fine*)
- Airflo 30lb backing - 175yds
- Stroft FC2 60/00 - 25mtr
- AFW 7-strand titanium wire 50lb (made by Peter. Extreme durable and easy to change streamers)
- Catfish black tandem streamer tied by Peter TMC600SP #3/0 (both hooks)
* as fly fishing for catfish is a new and small market there are no special intermediate fly lines for catfish in the #10 to #14 weight class. So we fished our 40lb core Airflo Elbi Pike line and that works great.
